IAABO Leisure Wear - IAABO is excited to announce that it has entered into a special arrangement with Premier Marketing Group (PMG). PMG will design and provide leisure wear with the IAABO logo. We have been asked by our members where they can purchase IAABO logo wear as seen at IAABO schools and at various meetings. After an extensive
search, IAABO has selected Premier Marketing Group to accommodate our needs. IAABO is constantly looking for additional streams of revenue so that dues never have to be increased (and that is our pledge to you), thus our agreement with PMG. Please be advised that this does not affect our agreement with Honig’s Whistle Stop, who is our official supplier for officiating wear and supplies. Our relationship with Honig’s is very strong and continues to be positive for both parties. Click www.iaabogear.com to access the IAABO online store.

Frosty Francis Court - As part of a recent renovation at Kingswood-Oxford School, the "Frosty Francis Court", was installed as a tribute to "Frosty's" legacy and the individuals he inspired. Frosty was the Executive Director of IAABO, Inc.

In these positions, he had a great influence on many basketball officials and contributed to the success of both organizations. If anyone is interested in making a tax-deductible gift, please make your check or money order payable to Kingswood-Oxford School and in the memo section of the check, please write "Frosty Francis Court".
If you would like to make your donation online, please go to www.kingswoodoxford.org/giving and in the "comments" section at the bottom of the page, please type in "Frosty Francis Court". Should you wish to make a gift of stock, or if you have other questions, please contact Mitch Linker at Kingswood Oxford AT 860.727.5012.
Jim Young - Jim Young, member of IAABO Board 130 in Massachusetts and CBOA and formerly of Board 21 in Maine, is known as a quiet and steady leader on the floor when he officiates a high school or college basketball game. He always has his partners’ backs when headed into a contest and can always be counted on in the most difficult of games.
Now, at his greatest time of need, his brother and sister officials have rallied together to support him and his family. On September 26th, while working, Jim suffered a terrible accident and was electrocuted. He suffered significant burns to his arms, chest, and back. Tragically, the burns he suffered have led to the removal of his left arm to his shoulder and the right arm had to be amputated half-way between his shoulder and elbow. Through the leadership of CBOA/Eastern New England, a fund has been established at TD Bank to help Jim and his family through this difficult ordeal. Anyone interested in contributing to the fund may do so by either sending a check (payable to: Friends of Jim Young) to Rich Napolitano, 5 Osgood Place-Unit C, Amesbury, MA 01913 or by visiting any TD Bank branch location and asking to make a donation to the Friends of Jim Young Fund.”
Officials vs. Cancer - Harry Orser, IAABO Board No. 150, Maine, was recently featured in a news article on TV regarding the wearing of yellow whistles in support of the cancer campaign. The story can be viewed by clicking here.
